DM814x OPP 100 - ISS & Media Ctrl clock frequencies

Hi all ,

We are trying to work at 100 OPP with DM814x processor . Table 7.4 of datasheet says for 100% OPP ISS core frequency is 400MHz & Media Ctrl frequency is 200MHz .

We observed from Figure 7-6 of datashhet that there is a single PLL - PLL_MEDIACTL for both ISS & Media Controller cores .

We have currently configured PLL_MEDIACTL to be 400MHz . What is the ISS & Media controller core frequencies in this case ?

Hi Suresha,

From Table 7-26. Maximum Module Clock Frequencies, if you have PLL_MEDIACTL as source for ISS & Media Controller then they are 400MHz.

There is an internal divider (/2) within media controller sub system and the effective clocking of Cortex-M3s will be 200MHz.
