I set params of NSF, the register is:

4810c210: 0000060d 000000ad 00000f0f 00000000    ................

I use RDK2.8 8168. the usecase is capture-display.

From the value of register, The nsf is enable. but the quality of image on screen doesn't change.

Why? Is there something wrong?

Hi,

Could you check if the frameNoiseAutoCalcEnable parameter is TRUE? If it is already set to TRUE, Can you set 12th bit at the address 0x4810c200 and check if you see any different in the output?

Hi, Thanks very much for your reply.

I set nsfProcCfg->frameNoiseAutoCalcEnable = TRUE; in \nsfLink_drv.c\NsfLink_drvInitCh, but there is no change.

How can I set the 12th bit at the address 0x4810c200 ? is it nf_frame_noise_init_en?

Hi Li,

Can you replace the config->updateFrameNoise by 1 in the function VpsHal_nfSetConfig in the file pspdrivers_\packages\ti\psp\vps\hal\src\vpshal_nf.c? This will hardcode 12th bit to 1 no matter what is the input configuration.

I set the config->updateFrameNoise = TRUE in VpsHal_nfGetDefaultConfig().

the register changed to

but the image on screen seems no change.
