AM3517 OTG driver question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3517

Hi!

I'm developing a custom AM3517 board. This SOC has a high speed USB OTG controller
and three high speed USB Host controllers. In the different evaluation boards I've seen
some kind of ULPI PHY, like the SMSC3320, in order to access the USB host.

Is it possible to avoid this kind of chips and interface the USB differential signals directly to
the AM3517 OTG high speed USB controller? Now I have 5 signals, USB0_P, USB0_N,
USB_VBUS, USB0_ID and USB0_DRVBUS. Is it supported this mode on linux kernel?
I'm using linux-2.6.37-psp04.02.00.07 from am3517-evm-sdk-05.05.01.00

Any help is welcome!
Thanks
Jorge
