Clarification regarding Emac code in C6670 simulator

Hi all,

I am working on the Emac example code of C6670 processor. I wanted to receive packets in the "CPSW_LOOPBACK_NONE" mode. So could anyone guide me how do i do it. I wanted to do this using the simulator. I have tried it with emulator and was successful. I was successful in transmitting and receiving the packets in the External Loop Back and Internal Loop back mode by doing the necessary changes with the configuration file for the nic card.

Hello all,

i am working on the c6670 simulator version. I was testing the emac example code present in the given pdk packages.

I was able to successfully test the Loopexternal, and Loopbackinternal mode, but when testing the loopback none mode i am not able to receive the transmitted packets at the destination PC. I tried capturing the packets using wireshark and also tried a server socket program.

Please guide me.

Have you tried running the basic NDK client example with simulator as per below steps?

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/BIOS_MCSDK_2.0_User_Guide#Building_and_running_NDK_client_example_with_simulator

If not, then I would suggest you do that as first step because it will allow you to configure your simulator to send out packets.
