Difference between "Target-Specific" and "Portable" HWIs for C6424 in Sys/Bios

Hello,

If I'm using a C6424 and Sys/Bios, should I be using the portable hardware interrupts or the target specific C64p HWIs? I notice there are additional settings available in the portable version, such as "Interrupt Priority." Does that even have an effect in the C6424?

If you are writing code for the C6424 or for the C6000 family and not planning to use this code across different platform architecture, I would stay with the target specific c64p Hwi.

The "Interrupt Prioirty" does not have any effect on the C6424.
