I am having a problem with the Profibus slave demo. I am running a critical link industrial io board with a AM1810. I am able to run the PRU examples, but the Profibus example gives the following error.

Alignment trap: PC=0x40032F28 Instr=0xE5852D04 address=0x00004D03 FSR 0x801

segmentation fault

I am also running linux-2.6.34-rc1, any help would be appreciated.

Wes,

No I was not able to get passed the segmentation fault. I tracked it down to some where in the prussdrv initialization methods. I do not have the source for that in order to recompile it under the angstrom build tools provided by critical link. I have moved on because I need a profibus master. I have seen mention that TI was working on one but I didn't see anything come of it so far. Do you have any information about a profibus master being implemented on the PRU?
