Booting Arago distribution with 3.7.2 kernel hangs on BeagleBoard XM

Hello,

I have a bbxm Rev C.1.0. The default linux version 3.3.7-r115 which comes with the sitara sdk (i.e., Arago) runs fine. However, I need kernel >3.5.x so I can run bluez 5.1 (we need the LE extensions), so I selected 3.7.2 since it appeared not too new and stable.

After downloading 3.7.2. moving it into the Arago build hiearchy, and modifying my Rules.make file to point to the new distro, i was able to run make successfully. However, after loading the image on the sd card, the boot hangs as shown below.

I found a patch that talks about turning on a voltage regulator when it's needed instead of relying on u-boot to turn it on. However the problem still occurs after applying the patch. http://www.mail-archive.com/linux-omap@vger.kernel.org/msg63463.html

Any help on getting this running would be appreciated.
