MCASP0 Revision Register not consistent with TRM.

Hi,

I am debugging / bringing up MCASP0 on the DM8148 and noted that the  Revision Identification Register (REV), Figure 16-37 of the TRM.  The register appears to be reading back as 0x44307302 while the TRM says it should be 0x44300A02.  Is this an issue?

    Hi Mike,

    This is not an issue.

    The MCASP0 PID register is giving the McASP module revision number that is integrated into the DM814x device. I have a DM8148 2.1 device, and I also read back 0x44307302 from this register (at address 0x48038000).

    I think the TRM is giving the McASP module revision number for DM814x 1.0 device (0x44300A02).
