Hello,

We are trying to automate the process of generating .ais file for firmware, but noticed the AISgen_d800k008_Install_v1.9.exe utility that we use for our C6748 DSP doesn't have a command line interface. Is the source code available for this utility or can someone add command line interface so that we can call it from batch scripts please?

Hi Fawad,

Sorry I had to reject the answer to appear red in the thread posts, that file is only available for OMAP-L138 but we are using the TMS320C6748 DSP core only, there is no ARM core on our processor. Also that file doesn't seem to be available for download or I'm missing something, like downloading full Linux distribution for OMAP-L138?

HexAisGen is the command line version of the AisGen GUI.Refer to the post that Fawad has pointed to. This utility is part of the Serial flash and boot utilities for the platform

One thing that is different using the command line tool is that you will need to convert your device configuration into an ini file. Sample ini files can be found here:

Thank you both for your kind help, this is what we needed. I didn't know about -cfg option since running AISGen from command line doesn't display any text.
