HELLO,
I am studying TMS320DM6446. I am having some doubt
1. How and what video & imaging processing task offloads by VICP?
2. IF I dont want to use ARM processor than can we bypass the ARM and use only DSP? if yes than how?
3. How ARM is useful for video application?
4. How L1/L2 memory arch is different from memory arch. used in TMS320DM2812 and How it is useful for video application?
5. If we are not using inbuild encoder than we can use modules like autofocus,histogram,ehancement,resizer,etc?
6. In Video processing sub system there is video processing front end(VPFE). This VPFE is having auto focus module. I want to know how what is the output? how it will focus? Is any command send to camera lens to adjust? I studied SPRUE38 which is for VPFE but not able to get satisfactory answer.
