IPNC RDK 3.5 HDMI Display Error

Dear,

I am testing the IPNC RDK 3.5 on DM8148 Camera which come from APPRO. I got the error on HDMI display.

Please saw the attached image to figure out the problem. The Display image was shifted and include the garbage data on the top lines. This problem was not appeared on RDK V3.2 and I have already checked with some different monitor so I can sure this issue not come from the LCD.

Hi Bioz,

Can you try with below settings change issue is observed or not

Goto Camera page -> in VNF select "HighSpeed: SNF + TNF " -> click ok to save settings.

The newly introduced "high quality" noise filter reduces the image width and height by 32 pixels due to the hardware constraint.

In order to preserve the full 1080P resolution in the encoded stream, an offset was introduced in ISS to output 1952*1112 with garbage border. Obviously this offset has not been taken into account in the display module. We will provide a fix soon.

"high speed" noise filter does not have this constraint.

Dear Zhuoran Dai,

Can we step over this error by ignore the noise filter and change back the output offset of ISS to 1080P? If it is possible, please give me some instructions for how to do it. We urgently need this temporal fix for our demo because dm8148 is one of our choice in our proposal. It is grateful to have your help!

As we already explained, if you don't care about the noise filter, just choose using "high speed" filter, you should not have this problem then.

Thanks, It fixed. Can you give a link to document that talk about the limitation of hardware which make the filter should cut out 32 top line. I just want to understand more about that for future.
