Can the PCIe interface be used when configured in SPI bootmode?

Hi Sir:

We have a design using C6678 as the main processing DSP.

The bootmode of our C6678 is in SPI bootmode.  We what to configure C6678 as a  PCIe endpoint  using the SPI bootcode.

But when the board booted succesfully, C6678 can not be emulated in the system.

Can you tell me why?

And can the PCIe interface be usede when C6678 configured in SPI bootmode?

    Could you elaborate "C6678 can not be emulated in the system." please?

    Do you mean the C6678 could not be connected to the JTAG emulator or C6678 PCIe EP could not be "enumerated" by the system host please?

    If it is the second issue, what is the PCIe host/RC in your system and could C6678 be enumerated in PCIe boot mode please?

    Basically you would like to use SPI to read boot image from external memory for the PCIe configuration, is it correct? 

    Once the SPI boot completes, the CorePac should execute the boot image from the specific boot address. The boot image should be able to configure the PCIe module in proper mode. You can refer to the PCIe LLD project in the PDK package for the PCIe configuration setup. You need to put the PCIe in EP mode and initialize the link training on both EP and host/RC ends in order to let host/RC enumerate the EP successfully.
