Hello,

i tried the enetLwip sample from am335x_sysbios_ind_sdk_1.0.0.6, but it´s not working. It´s the same problem with CCS5 and the SD-Card.

The problem is:

Port 1 IP Address Acquisition Failed.

Can somebody help me?

Hi Stefan,

I can see from the log that you are trying this on an ICE board. This will NOT work since there is no generic Ethernet port on this board. You will have to try this on an IDK.

do you run the default pre-compiled app or did you change the source? From what I see in the code the default is to use a fixed IP Address. So you should never see such an error...

oops, I missed that... yes, this example is for IDK only... It uses the integrated switch/Gbit MAC in AM335x.

do you mean the AM3359 Industrial Development Kit (IDK) ? What´s here the difference to the ICE?

Stefan,

yes, the IDK has two RJ-45 + TLK110 connected to PRU-ICSS. And there is a third RJ-45 + TLK110 connected to internal MAC so that you can 100Mbit Ethernet in addition to a realtime protocol. And then there is a lot of additional hardware to control a motor (BLDC or stepper). We use the IDK for our 'connected drives' demos.
