Hello,
I did a short check on this link, but there seems to be no real relation with some official compliance testing according to the USB specification. To do the Test one need to trigger a special testpattern, and I have not found any comment on this one.
In addition to the Signal quality tests there are a lot of different protocoll tests with e. g. the official compliacne test application from Agilent.
Normally one needs a windows based utility from USB.org to trigger the right patterns. The usbtest mentioned above seems not to be the right replacement for the windows tool.
Similar is true for PCIe and SATA.
So I think the question is still open: How to do compliance testing for high speed serial interfaces on ARM based processors ?
thanks for any feedback.
Hermann
Dear Hermann-san,
I am also finding source code of AM3874 USB singal integrity. Did you already get it?
If you found it, please let me know the information.
Best regards,
Michi
