SYS/BIOS issue in Heap buffer module

Hi ,

I am porting a application from CCS3.3(DSP/BIOS) to CCS5.2(SYS/BIOS).
  
I am using HEAP BUFFER module in CCS 5.2( SYS/BIOS )  , In CCS3.3(DSP/BIOS) i am using BUF_maxbuff api to get the count of buffers used but in ccs5.2 Heap buffer module there is no such api

How can i use that api in CCS5.2(SYS/BIOS) HEAP BUFFER module.
