Mosaic Problem

Which usecase are you using. Pls share the console logs when yoy switch layout and Vsys_printDetailedStatistics() log when hang occurs

We use VSYS_USECASE_MULTICHN_PROGRESSIVE_VCAP_VDIS_VENC_VDEC usecase.

The attached log-file shows the following situation:The board is starting with mosaic layout: HDMI1 4CH (2x2), HDCOMP 1CH.
Then I use the display menu to switch the layout.
I selected 9CH (3x3) for HDCOMP and start channel 0
The mosaic layout at HDCOMP is changing and playing but mosaic at HDMI stops playing.

This is an example. The same situation occurs if I change the mosaic layout at HDMI1,
then the HDCOMP mosaic will be frozen.

I found one mistake in the startup init.  "dmp_MosaicGenerateLayout: Invalid layout!" occurs in the log.

So I changed this. But the behavior with the frozen mosaic still occurs.

The logs is not complete. I dont see the DEI 2 statistics. Can you pls share the full Vsys_printDetailedStatistics log ?

Also have you set enableSecondaryChannels = FALSE in your application ?

Have you modified the number of Primary/Secondary channels in your app.

These params are passed to Vsys_init/Venc_init/Vdec_init/Vdis_init.

I added some sleeps to see all print from Vsys_printDetailedStatistics.

enableSecondaryChannels is TRUE in our application.

(I also tested with enableSecondaryChannels = FALSE, but the behavior is the same.)

The number of primary and secondaey channels can be seen in the log.

Are you invoking Vcap_setFrameRate() with vStrmId = 0 & outputFrameRate = 0 in your app code after calling Vxxx_init() functions ?

If so can you try disabling this call.

Also do you have enableMJPEG=FALSE ? If so pls try if there is any change in behaviour with setting it to TRUE.

enableMJPEG was TRUE, but I do not need it so I will keep this disabled for future.

Vcap_setFrameRate occurs in the 2 functions: Demo_displayResetFps(&vdMosaicParam,layoutId) and Demo_displayChangeFpsForLayout(&vdMosaicParam,layoutId);

The functions are used after generating mosaic layout.
If I disable the Vcap_setFrameRate() calls mosaic can be set independently without stopping !

Ok, thats fine. But why are the 2 functions used in the Demo ?

   Why Demo_displayResetFps & Demo_displayChangeFpsForLayout are called

   OR

   Why Vcap_setFrameRate is called ?

Why are Demo_displayResetFps(&vdMosaicParam,layoutId) and Demo_displayChangeFpsForLayout(&vdMosaicParam,layoutId); called ?
