Java on Linux on AM335x performance

We are about to move over to a AM335x platform (from Intel) and are concerned about the Java performance.

Do you have any hints to get the best performance - what OS and JVM is giving the best performance ?

In the specifications for AM335x is mentioned that it supports JazelleX - is that still a issue ?

Any Experience or hints to where we could find benchmark tests would be appreciated

Thax Martin

  • Martin,

I am not sure about JVM with Jazelle support. You will be able to port it to Linux if you find one. However in Android, there is no support for Jazelle.
