I am a beginner with DSPs and I am working with the DSP c6748 Development Kit (LCDK) and this last week I saw that I need an external emulator because the board does not have any inside.
I have seen that the suitable emulators could be: XDS100s, XDS200s, XDS510s and XDS560.
I know that for example XDS100s has low speed and worst features in comparison with XDS510. But I would like to know which is the most suitable to my project: I am working with Biometrics applications, it supposes that I have to download some code to the board and, in real time, do operations inside the board and receive the results of these operations and apply a specific controller to these results in my PC. Therefore, I need operate with Real Time Data, so which emulator would you recommend me? Can I use the cheapest one: XDS100v2? I am using CCS5.3.0
