Bluetooth Dongle interface with AM335x EVM

Since AM335x has different profiles supporting diferrent peripherals, we would like to interface external BT dongle with the board.

Could anyone please let me know the procedure.. Thanks

Hi Mandar,

What is the BT dongle interface? If it's USB you can connect it to USB1 port of the EVM (type A connector). You can check http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335x_General_Purpose_EVM_HW_User_Guide#USB

Thanks for your help Biser. Linux 3.2 already having generic BT driver as a part of kernel.
Below is how i get BT dongle working

1. hciconfig - shows me avaiable BT interface .
2. hciconfig hci0 up - intializes bluetooth device and then its available for use.

After it i am able to use TI's bluetooth scripts with this external BT USB interface. (Path: /usr/share/wl1271x/bluetooth/script/)

i am also facing the same problem, can i know which bluetooth dongle you interfaced with am335xevm.

have you tried file transfer using bluetooh?could you please give me steps for file transfer using bluetooth.
