Power supply of Two C6678 EVMs with Break Out Card Setup

According to the BOC user's guide each board is normally powered by it's own +12V power supply.

Traditionally the EVM’s installed into the Boc will have there own power supplies

Now I want to connect tow EVMs(DSPTMSc6678)  via the BOC with communication PCI express,

I maked the configuration by default of the jumpers (User guide, section II), but in section XVI.   (Common PCI e REFCLK Source) indicates others things!!

how can I do this  communication PCIe??

The configuration by default of the jumpers mentioned in the BOC's User Guide Insure the communication PCIe between EVMS or there are others configuration that I should do??
