ADC block in simulink embedded composer for C6747EVM

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6747

HI all

We are trying to use simulink's embedded coder to generate code for the OMAP L137/TMS320C6747 board.

The problem is the lack of configuration on the ADC block. We need to set which channel  (Mic-in or line-in) to select, and we need to use both channels simultaneously for our audio project.

The ADC block for the C6713 DSK in embedded coder allows the user to chose ADC source (with mic boost) which is our main problem, sampling rate etc. The ADC block of the C6747 board lacks many of these parameters.

Is there an update or a package for more configuration options? Why does this newer board have less configuration???

Without Simulink, we have been trying to learn to code but this board also does not have a tutorial like the C713 does and we are novice at best at programming. We have been stuck for two weeks.

please help!

  • Andy,

It is not clear which support forum would be best for your embedded coder questions.   This is the DSP/BIOS and SYS/BIOS forum, and I don’t know if there are any people familiar with embedded coder watching this forum.

It looks like you are a new member on the E2E forums.  What support methods have you used in the past for embedded coder on the C6713 DSK?  Have you contacted MathWorks?

If you have general C6747 related questions you can post those to the OMAP, AM1x, and C674x processors forum: http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/omap_applications_processors/f/42.aspx
