continuous mode YUV sensor at 720p60

Hi,

I have a YUV sensor which can give 720P@60 at UYVY format. I want to use Dm36x Resizer at continuous mode to resize UYVY 720P@60 frame to 420:SP 720P@60 and encode it . It works in single shot mode. But I do not want to use single shot mode as it is having overload problems.

Is it possible to use Dm36x Resizer at continuous mode for UYVY input format?

Can any body from TI confirm, if continuous mode resizer for UYVY input format is posssible or not?

I need to do this urgently.

Yes, its possible. We've done the same on a different TI platform some time back for NTSC/PAL video. I'm not sure about the register settings though.

From hardware perspective, it should be possible. You need to use IPIPEIF->RSZ path so that you skip the IPIPE operations.

Thank you for confirmation.

I tried to check the ipipeif configurations in appro SDK 2.6. The isifInType is set to CSL_IPIPEIF_ISIF_INPUT_TYPE_RAW. I changed it to CSL_IPIPEIF_ISIF_INPUT_TYPE_YUV.

It woks well now.
