Control Module Supplied MAC Address

There is a set of registers in the control module (EFUSE) of the DM8168, that supply a MAC address for each of the two onboard EMAC's. I have not found a document that says that these values are unique although I did find a forum post that claimed that these were unique values. My question here, are these values unique only among other DM816x devices or are they unique among all ethernet MAC addresses? Are they just a unique set of values that TI generates for this device or are they within a range of IEEE MAC addresses that have been assigned to TI?

    Ans:  Unique among all Enet MAC addresses.

    2. Are they just a unique set of values that TI generates for this device or are they within a range of IEEE MAC addresses that have been assigned to TI?

    Ans:  Within range of addresses assigned by IEEE to TI.
