Hi All,

I want to disable de-interlacing on Leopardboard DM365. The input is a composite input though tvp5146 decoder and I am using gstreamer pipelines to capture, encode and stream the video. Basically I want to stream interlaced encoded video.

I am working on this problem since a long time but unfortunately I have no result. I cannot understand what and where I need to do the changes. Is it in gstreamer pipleline or some hardware source code?

Mazahir,

What I understand is that you are encoding two fields together, where as you would like to encode one field at a time. It is possible to do it, but I think you'll have to change the capture driver mainly for the same. Also you've to change the encoders parameters as well.

Hi Renjith,

Thanks for the reply. Can you detail me a little more. The ridgerun sdk is using the TI evm sdk so cannot really figure it out as to where the changes needs to be done.

I am not sure where exactly to change. I will have to see the code, to answer this. If you trace the code, you can figure out yourself.
