Hello,

Is the sample aspect ratio API in H.264 actually means or used as DAR (display aspect ratio) ?

Ran,

Encoder just blindly puts this value in stream as part of VUI info. The description of this value is in section E.2.1 of H.264 standard. You can refer to that for more info.
