WINCE:increase size of OS partition

im using WINCE6.0 running on DM3730..... i have a NK.bin whose size is 48MB..... wen i try to flash it to nand(for nand boot)... i get an error saying..

"ERROR: OS partition too small..."

but wen i flash a NK.bin of size 38MB, its getting flashed successfully...... anything above 40MB,im gettin the above error msg.....

can u pls tell me how to increase the OS partition size??? which part of code should i edit to overcome this limitation?????

Hi,

Search for the same text message in your BSP. If you have source code you will identify the piece of code which is giving this error.

Also if you have to increase the size you may end of in modifying boot-loader, config.bib and some .inc and/or .h files.

You should only have to change the IMAGE_WINCE_CODE_SIZE variable under PLATFORM\EVM_OMAP3530\SRC\INC\image_cfg.h. Then a clean build is necessary to propagate the modification, then reflashing the bootloaders is needed as well.
