Our custom board designed with TI8148 uses a 4Gb 16bits NAND flash MT29F4G16ABAEAH4, TI8148 ROM code seem unable to detect the NAND as "CCC" is printed continuously. NAND flash writer is able to program this NAND.
Following is the detailed of the NAND flash:
Device ID : 0xcc
Manufacture ID : 0x2c
Page Size : 4096 Bytes
Spare Size : 64 Bytes
Pages_Per_Block : 64
Number_of_Blocks : 2048
Device_width : 2 Byte
DeviceSize : 512 MB
Referring to TI8148 TRM table 4-14, the entry for device ID CC is as follows:
Capacity=4Gb Device ID=CC Bus Width=x16 Page size=2048
Based on MT29F4G16ABAEAH4, the page size is 4096 and the parameters read back from this NAND is 4096.
Please advise if TI8148 ROM code is able to support this NAND flash or page size of 4096.
