Looking at the schematic of the Starter Kit (TMDSSK3358) I see on DDR3's address, cs, odt (page 7 of the schematic) the presence of termination resistors. Are they really needed? This imply also the presence of a dedicated LDO for VTT generation, with additional BOM cost.
I will investigate further but if you can give me a feedback about it ASAP, it will be very helpful, since customer will start the PCB routing on next week.
