Hi,

For a new opportunity at our customer, they would like to interface the ADC10080 to the TI: OMAP-L138 (DSP+ARM Processor). Meprolight would like to use the OMAP’s Universal Parallel Port (upp) to implement this interface.

I am not so familiar with the upp bus, but I did notice that TI mentions it can support CPU/4 of 75MHz CLK signal with up to 16 data lines. But I am not sure if I can omit the other “wait” and other signals in order to directly interface the ADC to the upp Port. I need help in understanding how to connect a parallel output bus ADC (ADC10080) to the OMAP-L138.

Please advise.
