Error Initializing emulator

Hi,

My code composer is working fine in the simulator mode and while want to use it in the emulator mode it throws out an error when I launch the target configuration.I'm using TMS320C6678 and the error message is 

IcePick_D: Error initializing emulator: (Error -2083 @ 0x0) Unable to communicate with the emulator. Confirm emulator configuration and connections, reset the emulator, and retry the operation. (Emulation package 5.0.747.0)

    Pradhith,

    Please look at the thread here for information on emulation configuration for the EVM6678L.

    Consider the following information that will be needed if more help is required:

    CCS version
    Custom board or EVM - which EVM
    Which JTAG - external or on-board or mezzanine
    How was the Target Configuration built or found
