Basic Linux-arago LCD question.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L137

I am working on Linux-Arago 2.6.37 for an OMAP-L137 target.
I intererested on the character LCD support (lcd_drv) detailed on DA830_Linux_LCD_driver.
An example of character LCD display (Hantronix HDM24216H) is provided by the DA830 UI board.
In no way I could enable such support through make Xconfig.
Only LCD fbdev support, once enabled,  is actually compiled.
The "Character devices" < > "DA830/OMAP-L137 Character LCD support" enabling is not displayed.
Am I missing something ?

Surely some of TI support team will replay to such basic question.

I believe the character LCD support example is more adequate than raster support as a starting point
for a more general LIDD management of LCD module still lacking in Linux distribuition.
So please let me know.

Thank you for your attention.
