DM8168 locale support

I want to add locale support to DM8168 platform. But I can't find locale cmd in the fs. So the glibc didn't support locale, and ezsdk didn't include a full version glibc.

How can I add locale to DM8168?

Hi Liddell,

The EZSDK does not support Internationalization and Locale. The customer will need to rebuild glibc and include internationalization.

Hello

Has anybody tried building glibc from source code and placed it on the EVM board? If yes, Please share the steps.

I need glibc2.11 for one of my application but the present filesystem has 2.8 version.

I'm using AM335x Starter Kit with Sitara Linux SDK v7
is this still the case for current version of EZSDK?
