Differences between AM335x starter kit and beaglebone

Hi to all,

we are starting to develope a system based on a Sitara AM335x.

For prototiping we are using a beaglebone and a AM335x starter kit.

The starter kit runs Arago Linux, the bbone Angstrom+gnome (we need the display).

1) what distro is better and why?

2)What should we use to have short developing time ant trimming time when we'll have our custom board?

This morning I tried to boot the beaglebone SD card in the starter kit. Nothing happened, it stops running  after the boot decompression.

When I tried to boot the arago linux in the beaglebone, it seems to boot very well but I do not have control of the PIN_MUX and the leds don't work (heartbeat).

From the TI documentation it seems that to build for the starter kit and for the beaglebone is the same thing.

    Regarding your questions: The Arago Linux distribution is the officially supported distribution from TI, which means that there is better support for it.

    Regarding your issue: Please provide logs of what is happening when you try to boot.
