problem with DSK TMS320C6713

i am able to compile, build and load my program in TMS320C6713 DSP processor ,after i click  the run icon in CCS studio Compiler i am getting this error message in message window

""Trouble Halting Target CPU: Error 0x80000020/-1070 Fatal Error during: Execution,  An unknown error prevented the emulator from accessing the processor in a timely fashion. It is recommended to RESET EMULATOR.  This will disconnect each  target from the emulator.  The targets should then be power cycled or hard reset followed by an emureset and reconnect to each target.   Sequence ID: 15 Error Code: -1070 Error Class: 0x80000020
Failed to remove the debug state from the target before disconnecting.  There may still be breakpoint opcodes embedded in program memory.  It is recommended that you reset the emulator before you connect and reload your program before you continue debugging.
1 other operation(s) were automatically canceled as a result""

please help me and suggest solutions

  • Gamini,

The DSK should come with tutorials and a Getting Started Guide. If you do not have these materials, please go to the website for the board vendor to download their support files.

You will also want to search the TI Wiki Pages for "c6713 workshop" (no quotes) and go to the appropriate training article. Follow through the student guide and labs that are archived for this class.

  • thank you for the attention sir .

can u tell me why this error occurred whenever i run my program?

iam able to load ,complie and build.

whenever i run my program or open the watch window, the DSK is getting disconnected indicating the above  quoted  error

  • Gamini,

The labs in the workshop I referenced walk you through the steps to begin doing the most basic operations, which are what you are trying to do.

At this point, there are two many possible problems with what little information we have for a remote debug session. If you start with the workshop and can get those to work, then we know to look one direction for your problem; if you are unable to get the workshop labs to work then we know to look another direction.

Otherwise, try another board to see if you have the same problem there. Or try the simulator.
