DSK_COMM4 with DSK6713

Dear sir,

 i am interfacing COMM_4 daughter card with TMS320C6713 DSK. While working with it i have downloaded a loopback program from Educational DSP website. when i connect UART A to UART B with RS232 ,i am not able to get output. Actully desired output is when loopback test pass it should glow LED2 on 6713 DSK. But when i connect loopback UART A to UART B i am untable to get result. Please revert back as early as possible.

    Ajaruddeen,

    You are using a cable for the connection from UART A to UART B, is that correct? Does that cable connect the Tx of UART 0 to the Rx of UART 1, and Rx of UART 0 to the Tx of UART 1? This is usually labelled as a "crossover" serial cable.

    Have you contacted Educational DSP to see how to implement the loopback for their software? They should have clear explanations of what the software will do and what is needed externally.
