Hi,

I want to know whether AM3874 can process H.264 encoding.
And if AM3874 can process H.264 encoding, could you teach me the performance (pixel count and fps)?

    Hello Nomoto,

    AM387x does not have HDVICP module for hardware accelerated encoding. It could be done by software on the ARM (A8) module, and the performance would vary and depend on the overall system load. It is generally not suggested to use AM387x for heavy encode/decode applications, please contact your local field engineer and discuss with him/her your use case in order to choose the most suitable device.
