Code generation tools for c6670 Linux

Hello,

I am about to try and run Linux on the c6670 EVM and was reviewing the notes here:

This mentions the the use of the code sourcery gcc tool chain (4.5-124) which links to:

The code sourcery site mentions several versions of the software, some of which are rather expensive.

Which version of the code sourcery software is necessary ?

The free version of sourcery should be enough to run Linux on the EVM.

Hi, Chuck,

when configuring the linux-c6x package by executing "./prj config", it will check several default directory to see if you have already downloaded the tool chain, if it does not find it, CodeSourcery 4.5-124 will be downloaded automatically assuming the DNS, etc. are set up correctly.
