[AM3517] WinCE6.0: Winsock API "recvfrom()" very poor performance

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3517

Hello,

I'm currently having trouble with our TI AM3517 CE6.0 device's ethernet performance.

In detail, WinSock API function recvfrom() (non-blocking mode) has a very long duration (1-3ms).

I compared it to our other CE-based devices:

- Win CE5.0 / XScale PXA270 / Keith&Koepp BSP
- Win CE6.0 / AT91 platform / adeneo BSP

Here, recvfrom() takes less than 1ms.

As the PUBLIC and PRIVATE sources are the same, I assume the ethernet driver in the
TI BSP isn't very well optimized.

Has anyone a solution for this problem?
Or is there an optimized ethernet driver for the AM3517 platform available?

Thanks in advance for any help.
