Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV320AIC3106
Hi,
I've connected the McASP0 on an AM335x to a tlv320aic3106 where AXR0 is used to transmit data to the codec and AXR1 is used to receive audio input. I have two options: running the codec in slave mode (audio output works but I don't get a frame clock when I try to do audio in), running the codec in master mode with a 12MHz external clock (clocks look good and data is on the AXR1 line when I used arecord but aplay and arecord both act like the kernel is not getting data from McASP0).
Do I need to configure DMA or anything else within the kernel to get audio input to work?
