DM368: DPCM Compression: lossy or lossless

Hi,

I am working upon DM368 to capture 5 MP RAW image. If I will apply DPCM compression and use 8 bit packed mode then I will save a lot on bandwidth side. But before I jump on this option, I want to know that DPCM is lossy or lossless compression. Is there any article published by TI regarding DPCM compression or losses statistics.

Hi Prabhakar,

I have refer the link provided. Link states that compression isn't lossless, and you reply DPCM is lossless compression.
