DSP Image library compilation in linux

Hi Team,

I'm new to Linux and OMAP3530 processor. I'm developing a Video based application for which DSP image library support functions are required. I have downloaded the imglib_c64Px_3_1_1_0_Linux.bin and installed in the PC. I just tried to use one of the API (IMG_median_3x3_16) in my application code and not able to compile successfully. I got confused with many stuffs in the internet...and seek help to learn step by step to compile.

I'm using the Linux Fedora version-17 and Eldk-5.2.1.

Is there any development tools required to compile in linux? Please guide me.
