sr0 heap memory leak

Hi,

I am working on rdk 3.0.

We find the free space of sr0 heap have a memory leak issue if we start/stop mcfw application. The free space of sr0 leak 1048 bytes in each app restart cycle.

This issue is same as rdk 3.5 release notes mentioned bug id SDOCM00094524, SDOCM00098125?

How do we resolve it?

We don't have a fix for this yet. Memory leak is in syslink Gate module where each Gate Create / Delete results in 128 bytes memory leak from SharedRegion 0.

No 128 byte memory leak in when creating and deleting GatePeterson instance is not fixed in RDK 4.0 as well.

Hi,

Attaching the work around to eliminate the syslink memory leak in listMP module. This patch is based on 4.1 rease. These changes will eliminate the 128 byte leakage every instance of listMP (due to gateMP) create / delete sequence.

Hi,

i have exactly the same probelm with DVR-RDK 4.0.

I have 1408bytes which were not free during start stop of the chain.

After adding this patch, there are just 640bytes which were not freed. Is there another bugfix for this issue?
