We're currently in the evaluation & planning phase of a new project, and are looking at which of development kits will most closely meet our

needs.

Quick system overview-

there are two type boards based on DM8168.

one board:
Need to be able to capture(2 HD 1080p60), encode and transfer to host via ethernet, H.264.

the other board :
Need to be able to receive multi-bitstream (2 HD 1080p60 or 4 1080p30 or 8 D1) from ethernet, decode,display through HDMI.

On 1st board, which does 'capture-encode-stream', What is the input interface for 1080P60 sources? HDMI or component? You can use I/O expansion card, if it is component: http://support.spectrumdigital.com/boards/evm816xiodc/revc/files/evm816xiodc_Schematics_RevC.pdf.

We do use FPGA output 1080P@60 to DM8168, not the tvp7002。

Are you looking for info on a development board like 816x EVM or do you have your own board and are looking for info on s/w package to get started with development.

Yes, I have 8168 EVM. I have EZSDK and VC SDK, but i want to know which sdk would be the best for us to start with develoment. with the requitment description above.
