Beginner with DSP programming

Hi

I'm beginner with DSP...I'm confused... where should I start from? actually I've studied datasheets.. now I need to program and learn how to use and work with this processor's sections...

I have a TMS320DM64AZDK board.. I know C programming but not familiar with my processor's syntax in C ... .. I think I'm lost in lots of resources which in I don't know which one is useful for me...I was wondering if you could guiding me and give me a step by step plan...

    Hamid,

    Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages. Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics.

    In particular, search for "training" along with the device name you are using. The might not be a perfect fit, so look over the various training choices available.

    The C64x Single Core DSP Forum did not appear to be the correct forum, nor is it practical to add onto an existing thread, especially one that has been marked Answered. Start your own thread to have the best chance at someone responded. Since I was on the original thread, I may be one of only a few from TI who would know that you asked the question.

    The part number you supplied above is incomplete, so I do not know what device you are using and I do not know what board you are using. I really have no idea where to suggest you start other than the searches I mentioned above.
