How to bulid CCS project using user defined makefile?

Hi,

I am new to CCS . I am using CCS5.3 , i am having a project with make file ,i wanted to build the project as CCS project , but when i build the project ,it is using automatically generated make file and it is building ,so how to make CCS not to generate makefile and to use makefile which i have already .

Are you trying to build a BIOS project? Can you please respond with the following information about your project?

BIOS version
XDC tools version
CGTools version

Thanks for the reply.Please find the details below:

BIOS Version :6.34.02.18

XDC tools Version :3.24.5.48

CGTools Version : c6000_7.4..2

I am using EVM6678. i have a project with makefile which i am able to compile on PC ,but i wanted to build using C6678 , but i am not able compile as it is taking automatically generated makefile , but i wanted to build using the my makefile which i used for compile on PC

Hari Krishna1,

You should be able to find some make file settings in your project build options. Perhaps what the screen shot below points to is what you need?

Also, are you able to build the project from the command line? Using gmake?

XDC tools ships with the gmake executable (should be in the top level directory), in case you need it.
