C6Run & C6EZRun for DM8168

Hi, I checked the C6Run & C6EZRun Homepage in http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/C6EZRun. The web page says "END OF LIFE . C6Run is still available for download, but is no longer being actively developed or maintained. Please consider other alternatives such as, Codec Engine IUNIVERSAL support, OpenCL or RCM. " Does it mean TI will not support using C6Run & C6EZRun for DM8168 ? Could you tell me what is the best way to do programing on both Cortex A8 and DSP cores in DM8168? Thanks

Yes. The C6Run development team has transitioned to other activities, and as the note describes, that product has reached it's 'end of life', at least as far as support and development goes.

The SysLink product is still supported and provides loading and communication APIs for homogeneous devices like DM8168. SysLink is provided with the Linux EZSDK. The latest SysLink releases are also available here, and include examples:
