TI ARM tool chain compiled H.264 codec for DM368

Dear all,

We are currently considering development of an industrial video recorder.
Since it has to be able to boot up in about 5 seconds, we don't think Linux is suitable OS for it.
So we are considering developing own small schedular, and wondering if there is any TI ARM tool chain compiled H.264 codec that works on the small schedular.
Is there any such codec available from TI?

Hi Kzau,

We have TI ARM tool based codecs. You can use these codecs to develop your product without using Linux. Currently these codecs are not available on external web, we will provide on request.

I would like to ask one more thing; Is DM368-High performance H264 Codec available as TI ARM tool based codec? We would like to use DM368-High performance H264 Codec（DM368 Platinum　encoder）since the product we are developing requires performance of H.264　1080p　30fps. Please let me know.

Hi Kazu,

Yes its available. You can achieve encoding of H264 streams 1080p@30fps on DM368. Some other customers are using it, and they are developing/ed product using TI BIOS.
