NEON is a standard component of most ARM Cortex-A processors. So you should find that on the web.

E.g. ffmpeg is largely done in NEON assembly as far as I know.

How to run code here (in Linux):

Some people are even running on AM335x Starterware (similar enoug to AM3505 you should be able to port the code):
