Using DDR3 with AM3359

Hi all,

I want to use DDR3 SDRAM with AM3359 instead of DDR2, is there any selection guide for this available with TI. I need to make a choice between DDR2 and DDR3 to be used in industrial environment. Please help.

Hi Prateek,

TI does not manufacture DDR memories. For specifications and design guidelines you can refer to the AM335X Datasheet, section 5.5.2. You can also check the reference design schematics that are available:
