kernel log when boot up?

Please connect the RS232 cable to the host PC and use the following COM settings in the console software.

* Baud rate: 115,200
* Data bits: 8
* Parity: None
* Stop bits: 1
* Flow control: None
* Transmit delay: 0 msec/char, 100 msec/line

sorry but you get me wrongly, i want to enable kernel log on boot up time. I can connect my device to COM9 as u say, but by default kernel log is not enabled at boot time, other log i can see on terminal, like uboot log ubl log and kernel extracting complition and bootup. but what i want is log (the same what dmesg shows) at boot time on terminal.

can u tell me what is function of 'earlyprintk'

because of 15 parameter in my bootargs, and bootargs will not let me allow to set more than 16 parameter, so i can't add both of you suggest, but with 'loglevel=8' it works fine, so just want to conform that i am on right track?

Early printk feature, in the kernel, can be used for debugging during the early stages of the bootup.

This feature enables one to use prinks even before the real console drivers are initialized. This functionality provides a stop-gap arrangement for the normal printk's, until the proper console driver init.
